SLIpknot adds Peoria date …

Grammy-winning hard rock band SlipKnot will bring its "All Hope is Gone" tour to the Peoria Civic Center Arena at 7 p.m. Feb. 2. The show will open with performances by Coheed and Cambria, and Trivium. Tickets are $45 and $39.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Civic Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets or by phone at 676-8700.

In case you missed the announcement earlier this week, country star Toby Keith will bring his "Biggest and Baddest Tour" to the Peoria Civic Center Arena at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29, along with Jason Aldean. Tickets are $49.75 and $34.75 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Civic Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 676-8700.

Country duo (and Dunlap twin brothers) The Webbs are hosting a St. Jude fund drive on their MySpace page. FOLEPI GOES LIVE

The East Peoria Festival of Lights officially opens Friday. Folepi’s Winter Wonderland drive-through hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Admission is $10 for cars and vans. Visit www.cityofeastpeoria.com.
