"This site lost its relevancy a while ago."

Agreed.

I’ve been debating for some time what to do about it. I do realize that part of the problem is that I don’t have the time to keep up with it, besides approving anonymous comments.

It’s a shame that the conversation here has devolved into such pitiful trash-talking. I am sick of it, and I imagine I speak for the silent majority of people who still log on here once in awhile.

So, the question is, what to do? I have not wanted to ban specific individuals or censor anonymous comments, but it seems that the time may be coming to do just that.

So, speak up, people. Do you still want this site to exist? Should we kill anonymous commenting (not that that would solve the problem by itself)? Should we ban individuals? If so, who? Or can we all agree to refocus our posts away from the gutter talk that has nothing at all to do with music? What to do?

I’m open to whatever. It would make my life easier to just kill this whole site and be done with it all, but I don’t want to do that if there is a way to fix it so that people could still get value out of it. Thanks in advance for your input.
